COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP VOLUNTEERS FOUND SOME SURPRISES

ANOTHER CLEAN-UP TO OCCUR IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS

Somebody lost their pants in Big Sky. Fortunately, volunteers of the recent community clean-up were there to round them up. They found a few other interesting things as well at the intersection of Highway 64 and Lone Mountain Trail: a golf ball, a glove, a boot, swimming goggles, a piece of horn and a marijuana pipe – fully intact – as well as a lot of construction debris.

The joint effort organized and sponsored by The Hungry Moose Market and Deli, Big Sky Community Organization, The Turd Wrangler, Gallatin Home Inspections and Mountain and Canyon Cab Co. occurred on a chilly day with unpredictable weather. Still, volunteers labored on, collecting a couple hundred pounds of garbage in just a few hours, according to Ben Keefe, coowner of Mountain and Canyon Cab Co.

“It went well,” he said.

They are planning another clean-up in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned for more details.
