The Lone Peak Varsity Big Horns home basketball games against White Sulphur Springs Hornets on Jan. 26 showed the Big Horns’ mettle. It was a closely contested game for the boys during the first half, but the Big Horns surged ahead after a halftime rally.
The Lady Big Horns Varsity game against the Hornets was not looking too promising in the second quarter, but the girls found determination in the half and surfaced for the third quarter ready to battle. The gap they created in the third helped clinch the win.
